Earnings Reports & Company Profile Overhaul

  • +New earnings report page for every quarter of every tracked company, reachable from each company profile via "Earnings reports". Each report covers headline figures (revenue, gross margin, operating margin, net income, with year-over-year change), a written summary of the quarter, the forward guidance, reported figures, risks, and SaaS KPIs. Browse companies from the Public SaaS Valuations table.
  • +Every company now has an earnings overview listing all available quarters, each with its revenue, YoY growth, operating margin, and counts of KPIs, guidance items, and risks. Previous and next arrows plus a quarter selector make it quick to move between reports.
  • +Reported figures table comparing each quarter's GAAP numbers against the prior quarter and the same quarter a year earlier, with QoQ and YoY changes colored by whether the move is good or bad (rising costs are shown as a drag, not an improvement).
  • +Forecast chart on each earnings report showing management's guidance range for the coming period, and a matching guidance band on the valuation-by-quarter chart on company profiles.
  • +SaaS KPIs, such as net revenue retention, customer counts, and other company-reported metrics, now appear on each earnings report and as trend charts on the company profile, so you can see how each metric moved over time.
  • ↑Quarterly summaries are now checked against the SEC's reported XBRL figures before they are published, and each summary is built from the filing for the right quarter, including the 8-K earnings release when available. Figures that don't match the filings are corrected or flagged instead of shown.
  • +Company profile pages gained an "On this page" navigation that follows your scroll, plus new Guidance and SaaS KPIs sections.
  • ⟳The AI replacement risk rating on company profiles moved from a small badge into its own section, with a "Why this rating" breakdown and "Ways to reduce exposure" recommendations, using the same model as the AI Risk Calculator.

Delisted & Acquired Company Labels

  • +Companies that are no longer publicly traded (delisted, acquired, or merged) are now detected automatically and labeled with a status badge on their profile, in the Public SaaS Valuations table, and in the Valuation Gap Analysis.
  • ↑Inactive companies stay listed with their historical financials, but their figures are shown "as of" the date they last traded, and they always sort below active companies instead of ranking among them.
  • ✓Stale prices from delisted companies no longer skew current market statistics. They are excluded from the summary stats on Public SaaS Valuations, the "as of today" view in the Valuation Gap Analysis, and months after their delisting date in the Multiple Index, while earlier months of the index are unchanged.

Market Cap Accuracy for Stock Splits

  • ✓Corrected market cap calculations for companies that have undergone a stock split — share counts are now converted onto the same basis as the stock price before being multiplied together, fixing cases where a post-split price was paired with a stale pre-split share count and undervalued the company by the split ratio.
  • ↑Reconciliation tooling now reports how many days apart the SEC and market-data share counts were measured, making it easier to tell a real discrepancy from two sources simply reporting as of different dates.
  • ✓Fixed stale share count records lingering in the database after a filing correction moved a quarter's reported count to a different date.

Calculator Redesign with Valuation Drivers & Benchmark Tables Refresh

  • +New "Valuation drivers" breakdown on the calculator results, rating growth rate, Rule of 40, net retention, GTM efficiency, growth quality, and AI substitution risk as Positive, Neutral, or Drag on the multiple.
  • +"How to raise your multiple" section on the calculator surfaces up to three prioritized, actionable recommendations based on your inputs.

Fixed Historical Market Cap for Stock Splits

  • ✓Fixed market cap calculations on historical dates for companies that have split since then — the share count as reported at the time is now converted into current-share terms to match our split-adjusted price history.

Site-Wide Visual Redesign

  • ⟳Refreshed the entire site with a new dark, data-driven visual design and updated color palette, typography, and components across the homepage, company profile pages, Valuation Gap Analysis, and every other tool page.
  • ↑Company profile pages: category badges now link straight into the matching benchmarks filter, and the quarterly financials chart was redesigned as an interactive multi-line chart with toggleable Revenue, Gross Profit, Net Income, S&M, Rule of 40, and Magic Number series.
  • ↑Reorganized top navigation with a cleaner outline "Calculate valuation" button, and removed cluttered overlapping value labels from charts across the site.
  • ✓Fixed the mobile navigation menu overlapping the "Calculate valuation" button, and corrected chart tooltips that previously only appeared when hovering exactly on a data point.

  • +New Valuation Gap Analysis page comparing our model's calculated valuation against the market cap for every tracked public SaaS company, filterable by category and searchable by name.
  • +Each company shows two views side by side: the gap as of its most recently reported quarter (using that quarter's closing price and Multiple Index reading) and the gap as of today (using the current share price and current Multiple Index reading), so the historical and live pictures are both visible at a glance.
  • +Quarter-over-quarter change indicator showing how the gap has moved since the previous reported quarter.
  • +AI Risk score is now factored directly into the valuation model as a premium or discount on the multiple, applied consistently across the Calculator, company auto-valuations, and the Valuation Gap Analysis.
